Prior to joining Open Lines®, Alexandra received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from New York University. She holds additional certifications in LSVT LOUD® for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and other neurologically based communication disorders, and in Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
Alexandra’s clinical practice spans both pediatric and adult populations across a variety of clinical settings. At the NYU Langone Voice Center, she conducted comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and implemented individualized treatment plans for patients with voice and upper airway disorders. At the NYU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic, she evaluated and treated children and adults with a range of diagnoses, including aphasia, dysphonia, language disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.
Alexandra also brings specialized pediatric experience from the Rebecca School, where she provided neurodiversity-affirming, sensory-informed therapy for children using the DIR®/Floortime™ model.
Complementing her clinical work, Alexandra served as a research assistant in Purdue University’s I-EaT Research Lab, where she analyzed the interaction between language and swallowing development in infants and co-authored a presentation for the Dysphagia Research Society.
