Eve received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She holds additional certifications in LSVT LOUD for children and adults with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions, Speech Intelligibility Training for children with dysarthria, Supported Conversations for Adults with Aphasia, and Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
Eve has had diverse clinical work experiences in outpatient clinic, hospital, and school settings. Through her work at an Early Intervention preschool and at the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center, Montefiore Medical Center, Eve has attained proficiency in dynamic assessment and treatment of speech sound, motor speech, and language disorders. She enjoys learning closely about children’s communication strengths and challenges using parent interviews, discourse and narrative analysis, play, and culturally-sensitive standardized assessments. Eve has experience creating fun and engaging therapy activities that integrate her knowledge of speech & language development with principles of neuroplasticity.
At the Edward D. Mysak Clinic for Communication Disorders of Teachers College and Yale New Haven Health Greenwich Hospital, Eve provided voice therapy to both children and adults with neurological conditions and dysphonia, considering patients’ unique backgrounds and lifestyles to create functional treatment plans. She has administered comprehensive feeding and swallowing evaluations and delivered infant-led, family-centered feeding therapy both in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the outpatient clinic. Eve understands the importance of collaborating with other therapists and medical professionals and focuses on using accessible language when counseling families.
Through a variety of experiences, Eve has demonstrated a passion for helping children and adults achieve their full potential. She is committed to providing functional, holistic, and evidence-based care that centers the client or student’s unique goals.
