Adult Aphasia Alphabet board (Free Speech-Language Resource)

Sound cueing, or phonemic cueing, is one of the strategies a speech-language pathologist may recommend and train a person with aphasia to use to be able to say find and words wore easily.

To do this, a person should state the first letter and sound of the intended word or have someone do it for them. These worksheets provide practice opportunities for the person with aphasia to look at, trace, and state letters and associated sounds for both uppercase and lowercase letters with or without guided lines. They are also a great resource for care partners who want to help someone find and say words out more easily!
