Adult Aphasia Number board (dates) – Free Speech-Language Resource

After a stroke, people with aphasia may have difficulties recognizing/using numbers/dates accurately.

This can make everyday tasks like managing appointments or planning out the day feel challenging. A speech-language pathologist can work with a person with aphasia to improve their ability to recognize, understand, and manipulate numbers. This handout includes numerical and written form of terms relating to dates and can be used by people with aphasia, carepartners, or speech-language pathologists.
